Husick’s by Forester, recently opened its doors in Clarksburg, CA - breathing new energy into a historic building, first built as a General Store over a century ago. The history and legacy of the building intrigued Chef Matt Brown, in addition to its location on South River Road, in close proximity to to great wineries, and a stone’s throw from Sacramento.
Prior to opening Husick’s, Matt Brown has made an impact in the Sacramento region with his diverse and fun approach to cooking. With experience as Executive Chef at a variety of Sacramento staples such as The Golden Bear, Jungle Bird, and Bodega Kitchen & Cocktails - expect a mix of thoughtful seasonal dishes, casual fare like pizza and sandwiches featuring house made breads and dough, and a beer/wine selection showcasing some of our favorite purveyors from the region.
